REGULAR SEASON WAIVER & POLICIES Fall/Spring 2026-2027 (must agree to all in order to register for classes at KBDS)

~Annual registration fee ($64 per family) & first month's tuition is required upon student registration and is non-refundable for any reason. No student-registration will be accepted to hold without full payment included at the time of registration. Your registration will only be finalized once full payment has been received. Should a payment be declined or insufficient, your spot in the class will be forfeited, and you will be placed on the waitlist until another opening arises. To ensure a smooth registration process, please have all required information and payment methods ready at checkout, and confirm that your account is up to date before registering.

~Monthly tuition is to be paid on the first class of each new month. See the payment policy waiver for regulations regarding Credit Card/ACH/Auto-Pay and Cash payments. Parents will be responsible for legal and collection fees incurred by the studio should an account become delinquent. Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, Inc. reserves the right to drop registrant from class rolls in the event of excessive tardiness and/or absences, disruptive behavior, and/or non-payment of tuition or other charges.

Please note: In the event the dancer's tuition becomes delinquent, Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, Inc. will not allow the dancer(s) to participate in lessons until the account is paid in full.

~Weather/Holiday Policies: Class cancellation or missed classes: No refunds, deductions, or credits will be given for missed classes due to illness, holidays, studio closures, or closings due to weather. KBDS reserves the right to cancel any class not meeting minimum enrollment requirements. Classes may be held even if Putnam and/or surrounding counties are closed due to inclement weather. An email and social media notification will be sent out by NOON regarding the status of the day's classes. We do not follow Putnam County policy. Please ensure a current email address is submitted with the student information at the time of online registration, for access to our emailing system.

~Class Attire: Please see your dancer(s) class description on the online registration form. Dancers should take time and care when dressing for classes. Hair is always to be neatly tied away from your face, especially Collective and Advanced classes. Street clothes are not permitted in dance class. Instructors must be able to correct dancers appropriately and they may be obstructed if the dancer's alignment is hidden. We feel you must dress for success; therefore, when you look like a dancer, you will dance like one too! ~Annual Christmas Show: Our Annual Christmas Show & Dress Rehearsal presenting our students will take place on December 21st and 22nd, 2026 at the beautiful Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of West Virginia. The show allows the students to perform and showcase what they have learned during the first semester of classes. PLEASE NOTE: **All students registering are expected to participate in the Annual Christmas Show as we believe the performance is an important part of the student's dance education.** All students participating in the Christmas Show will also be required to participate in any dress rehearsals- no exceptions.

~Annual Spring Production: Our annual Production & Dress Rehearsal presenting our students will take place on May 15th and May 16th, 2027 at the beautiful Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of West Virginia. The show allows the students to perform and showcase what they have learned during the dance year. PLEASE NOTE: **All students registering are expected to participate in the year-end Production as we believe the Production is an important part of the student's dance education.** All students participating in the Production will also be required to participate in the rehearsal performance- no exceptions.

~Costumes: A costume deposit and balance will be due on specific dates set by the studio. Costume payments are non-refundable for any reason. Once costumes are ordered, you are responsible for payment, in full, of all costumes/accessories. If deposits are not made, your child's costume will not be ordered; therefore, he/she will not be permitted to continue dancing until the payment is received. Keep in mind, when registering for classes in the fall, dancers are registering for the duration of the year; including participation in the Annual Christmas Show & concluding with participation in the spring Production. ~IMPORTANT NOTICE! No person shall use the studio name, studio logo, choreography, images, or any other intellectual/visual property produced by Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, Inc. for your own personal profit or benefit. Unauthorized usage will result in dismissal from the studio and potential legal ramifications. No video recordings shall be promoted or shared on social media including class material, choreography, and/or Production material. Valuable items should not be brought to the studio. KBDS will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.

~Class Observation: Please note, all regular classes are drop-off and pick-up only to ensure our dancers can focus without distractions. Advanced classes, choreography sessions, and rehearsals are always closed to observation; we can't wait for you to see them shine on stage! Only students are allowed in the classrooms to ensure that the dancers remain focused. The studio will host pop up viewings incorporated throughout the dance season; these will be announced in advance.

I/we grant Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, Inc. and its Director permission to use photographs and/or videos/DVDs of my child in their advertisements and/or website.

Effective October 1, 2016: Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, Inc. will only be accepting ACH (automatic withdrawals) from credit/debit accounts on file, Auto-Pay (if enrolled), Credit/Debit cards, or cash as acceptable methods of payment. Checks will no longer be accepted for monthly tuition or show fees. The following policies set forth are in conjunction with all payments.

I. If payments are to be completed using the ACH Debit system/Auto-Pay/Credit-Debit Card, monthly tuition will be withdrawn/posted the 1st of each new month. Tuition and performance fees will be withdrawn in accordance with the due dates set. Please see yearly dance calendar for these dates.

II. A $25 late fee will be assessed/posted if the tuition is not taken care of the first class day of the new month(s). Effective January 1st, 2026, any payments not received by the 10th of each month will be subject to an automatic late fee, without exception. The system is designed to automatically identify outstanding balances and will apply the late fee after the 10th.

III. The method of payment chosen at registration will remain in effect until the end of the season. Interchanging cash payments and automatic withdrawals/Auto-Pay/Credit-Debit Card(s), is not recommended.

IV. If a student needs to cancel their online payment method, the studio must be notified in writing 15 days prior to the withdrawal date. No refunds can be given if you do not notify the studio. No cancellations taken over the phone.

I understand that all monthly tuition payments are due the first of each month and agree to keep all payments: registration, monthly tuition, costume deposit and balance, performance fees and final payments current. I understand that in the event my account payments are two months delinquent, Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, Inc., will not continue to provide said lessons/instruction until tuition is paid and is current.

I also understand that Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, Inc. is not responsible for alternations, accessories or any other items deemed necessary for participation in class or annual performances.

I have read the foregoing agreement fully and understand that the terms set forth in this agreement are binding.

By signing this document, you acknowledge that you have thoroughly reviewed the studio handbook and agree to comply with all the policies outlined within. Your signature confirms you have read, understood and agree to follow what is set forth within the studio handbook.

I agree that I am the Parent and/or Legal Guardian for my student(s) enrolled at Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, Inc.

I certify that the student referenced above does not have any physical restrictions or limitations other that those stated in the registration that would render them unfit to dance and perform in such capacity. This is a very physical activity, and I agree to hold harmless and to release Deana Boggs-McNeil, Cheyenne McNeil, and/or any assistant instructor or agent of Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, Inc., with regard to any injuries sustained on the premises of Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, Inc.

I attest that the student has had a medical exam within the last 12 months and is capable of participating in dance classes.

I authorize Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, Inc. to administer first-aid and/or authorize medical treatment if necessary. I hereby grant authority to allow all emergency medical treatment necessary at any medical facility and assume the responsibility for payment of this medical treatment.
