Nancy Sauer School of Theatrical Dancing - Policies and Procedures
Registration: An annual $40 non-refundable registration fee is required per family.
Payment of fees: Tuition is an annual fee broken into monthly installments for your convenience. If tuition is not paid in full at time of registering, it must be paid the first lesson of each month. After the 15th of each month a late fee of $15.00 will be assessed to your account. Accounts must be set up with a credit/debit card for your monthly auto-recurring tuition payment.
Withdrawal: Our tuition and lessons are based on a school year. Tuition is broken into monthly payments for the convenience of our students. In the event of early withdrawal, Parents or adult students will be responsible for remaining tuition. If you fail to meet the financial obligations of this agreement with the school, you will be responsible for collection fees of 40%, attorney fees and court cost.
Christmas Recital fees: Only one costume per dancer is necessary for the Nancy Sauer Christmas Hour. Christmas Recital Package is $170.00 and includes Costume, tights, DVD, Rehearsal Fee and 2 Tickets. This package must be paid in full by October 1, 2024. Absolutely no refunds will be made on Recital packages.
Spring Recital fees: You and/or your child are enrolled in _____ dance class(es) and will have the opportunity to perform in the June recital for each class. The Spring Recital package is $205 and includes 1 Costume, Tights, DVD, T-shirt, Rehearsal Fee and 2 tickets. Costumes for additional classes enrolled in will be available for $95 each. This package AND additional costumes must be paid in full by November 1, 2024. Absolutely no refunds will be made on Recital packages or costume payments, no matter the circumstances.
Dress Code: Hair should be pulled back for all classes. Please see your class description for dress code.
Parents’ responsibility to be aware of dates and events: It is the responsibility of the parent or adult student to be aware of all school activities, such as recitals, extra classes, and dates the studio is open or closed. The school will post all such notices on the bulletin board as well as sending notices home via the students' file. It is the parents responsibility to regularly check the board and file to ensure they are well-informed. It is the responsibility of the parents or adult students to inform the school of any change in telephone numbers or address.
Care of students: The school is not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. Students are not to be left at the school for excessive time before or after class.
Injuries: Parents, legal guardians of minor students and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on school property resulting from normal dance activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during or after class.
Photo release: The school is hereby granted permission to take photographs of the students to use in brochures, web sites, posters, advertisements and other promotional materials the school creates. Permission is also hereby granted for the school to copyright such photographs in its name.
