Dear Dance Family,
Thank you for considering MDA House of Dance for your child’s dance education. We’re excited to welcome you and look forward to a fun, rewarding season!
Below are some important policies and reminders regarding tuition, participation, and performances for the September–June dance season:
💳 Tuition & Payment Policies
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month during our dance season.
Auto-pay enrollment is required, and payments will be processed within the first week of each month.
A 30-day written notice is required prior to the next billing cycle if you wish to withdraw from the program.
We offer multi-class and sibling discounts for families participating in multiple classes or with more than one dancer enrolled.
👗 Costumes & Performances
Participation in any performance requires a costume.
Spring recital costumes are included in your tuition(except for competitive and special teams), though some routines may require additional, inexpensive accessories, which will be communicated in advance.
Costume measurements are taken during class on designated days. Please make every effort to attend.
Costumes are sized based on standard measurement ranges provided by the costume companies and are not custom-made.
Any required alterations or adjustments are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
🏆 Competitions, Workshops, & Additional Events
Additional events such as competitions, conventions, or workshops are not included in monthly tuition.
Associated costs (entry fees, travel expenses, etc.) will be shared with as much notice as possible.
We do our best to keep these additional expenses minimal and transparent.
💬 Financial Flexibility
We understand that unexpected challenges may arise. If you're experiencing financial difficulties that could impact your tuition payments, please don’t hesitate to contact us as soon as possible. We’re happy to work with you to find a solution so your child can continue dancing.
🔁 Refund Policy
Please note that all fees paid — including tuition, costumes, and attire — are non-refundable and cannot be credited toward future classes.

Waiver and Liability Agreement
Thank you for choosing MDA House of Dance and Miss Darcy’s Academy of Dance and Art, LLC. The Waivers and Liabilities Agreement is a required document for all individuals enrolling in our programs. By signing or agreeing to this waiver, you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions of participation in any classes, rehearsals, events, or performances conducted by our academy.
General Liability Waiver
By click on this agreement and registering for our program, you release MDA House of Dance and Miss Darcy’s Academy of Dance and Art, LLC, including its owners, instructors, staff, and affiliates, from any and all claims or liabilities related to personal injury, property damage, or other incidents that may occur as a result of participation in our programs. You acknowledge that dance and physical activity carry inherent risks, and you voluntarily accept those risks on behalf of yourself or your child.
Photo and Video Release
You authorize MDA House of Dance and Miss Darcy’s Academy of Dance and Art, LLC to use any photographs or video footage taken during classes, rehearsals, performances, or events for professional, promotional, or marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, printed materials, and advertisements.
Medical Acknowledgement & Emergency Authorization
You acknowledge that all instructors are trained and professional; however, the academy is not liable for injuries or medical issues that may occur during participation.
It is your responsibility to inform the academy in writing of any medical conditions, including but not limited to:
Heart, back, or muscular conditions
Allergies
Pregnancy
Diabetes or epilepsy
Neurological or chemical conditions
Knee, kidney, or shoulder issues
Special medication needs
In the event of a medical emergency where a parent/guardian or participant cannot be reached in time, you authorize Darcy Sines or her designated agents to seek medical treatment on your behalf or that of your child. This includes authorizing a licensed physician to administer all necessary emergency care.
You accept full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred. The absence of health insurance does not make MDA House of Dance or Miss Darcy’s Academy of Dance and Art, LLC responsible for covering those costs.
This authorization serves as a limited power of attorney and will remain in effect for one (1) year from the date of signing.
Acknowledgement
By signing this agreement, you confirm that you have read and understand the terms outlined above, and that you willingly accept the conditions of participation in the programs of MDA House of Dance and Miss Darcy’s Academy of Dance and Art, LLC.
