Please review the following information before registering. By checking “I agree to the terms and conditions” and clicking “Accept,” you agree to these policies for all dancers registered through your account.
Tuition and Payment
-Tuition is based on the length of the session and includes regular classes.
-Credit Card/Auto-Pay: Credit-card payments are processed through our online Parent Portal and are subject to a service fee of up to 2.4%.
-E-Transfer or Cash: Payment must be received at the time of registration.
-Payment Plans: Payment plans are available upon request. A valid credit card must be kept on file, and payments will be processed automatically on the first of each month.
-A non-refundable $40 + GST registration and costume rental fee per class is due at registration.
-All registration and costume rental fees are non-refundable.
-Tuition and other program fees may change between seasons or sessions.
Outstanding Balances
-Dancers with an outstanding balance may not be permitted to attend class, receive a costume or participate in a performance.
-Late or declined payments are subject to a $30 fee.
-The $30 fee may be added to accounts with an outstanding balance after the first of the month.
Withdrawals and Credits
Registration reserves a dancer’s place for the entire session.
-Withdrawal requests must be emailed to studio@infinitydanceinc.com.
-Withdrawals before the session begins will receive a studio credit for the tuition paid.
-Registration and costume rental fees will not be refunded or credited.
-Refunds will not be issued once the session begins.
-If more than 75% of the session remains at the time of withdrawal, a tuition credit may be issued. The amount will be determined by Infinity Dance Inc.
-No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes.
-Credits are non-transferable and must be used within the timeframe specified by Infinity Dance Inc.
Class Changes and Cancellations
-No refunds or credits will be issued for closures caused by severe weather, power outages, public-health restrictions or other circumstances outside Infinity Dance Inc.’s control.
If in-person classes cannot continue for an extended period:
-Recreational classes may move online for up to two weeks.
-Classes may be postponed if in-person instruction cannot resume after two weeks.
-If classes are postponed for more than four weeks, an account credit may be provided for future use.
Infinity Dance Inc. may provide a substitute instructor when the regular instructor is unavailable. If a substitute cannot be arranged, the class may be rescheduled.
Infinity Dance Inc. reserves the right to change class schedules, combine or cancel classes, or discontinue a dancer’s participation when reasonably necessary.
Studio Closures
Infinity Dance Inc. is closed on statutory holidays and during scheduled breaks, including November Break, Christmas Break, Family Week, Easter Break and summer holidays.
Closure dates will be included in the studio calendar provided at the beginning of the season. Our recreational calendar generally follows the Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education holiday calendar but may include studio-specific changes.
Showcase Information
-Showcase tickets are $16 each.
-Anyone aged three or older who requires a seat must have a ticket.
-Families will receive a digital copy of the showcase following the session.
-Rental costumes must be returned within 14 days of the performance.
-A fee of $65 + GST will be charged for costumes that are lost, stolen, not returned or returned with significant damage or soiling.
Communication
Important information is shared through email, text message, the Parent Portal and social media.
Parents and guardians are responsible for:
-Keeping their email address, phone number, address, emergency contacts and billing information current;
-Notifying the studio when their dancer will be absent; and
-Reviewing studio emails and calendar information.
Questions or concerns should be discussed by email, phone or a scheduled appointment. Please do not interrupt instructors during class time.

Dress Code and Footwear
We want all dancers to feel comfortable and be able to move safely during class. All dance shoes and indoor runners must be clean and worn indoors only.
Ready Set Move — Parent & Tot, Ages 0–4
-Children and participating adults should wear comfortable clothing that allows them to move freely.
-Children may wear a bodysuit and tights or comfortable activewear.
-Participating adults may wear comfortable activewear.
-Bare feet are recommended for children and adults. Adults may wear clean indoor shoes if preferred.
Ready Set Dance — Ages 2–6
Girls:
-Bodysuit with tan or natural skin-tone dance tights.
-Shorts or a skirt may be worn over the bodysuit.
Boys:
-T-shirt with shorts or sweatpants.
-Please do not wear jeans.
Shoes:
-Full Combo: Ballet shoes or bare feet. Tap shoes are not required.
-Ballet/Tap: Ballet shoes and tap shoes. Tan Mary Jane-style tap shoes are preferred.
-Hip-Hop/Acro: Ballet shoes. Clean indoor runners may be worn for the Hip-Hop portion.
-Highland: Ballet shoes—black preferred—or traditional Highland shoes.
-Hair should be tied back in a ponytail, bun or braids whenever possible.
Recreational and Teen Classes
Girls:
-Bodysuit with tan or natural skin-tone dance tights.
-Leggings, shorts or a skirt may be worn over the bodysuit.
-Footless or convertible tights are required for Acro.
Boys:
-T-shirt with shorts or sweatpants.
-Please do not wear jeans.
Shoes:
-Ballet and Ballet/Lyrical: Ballet shoes.
-Tap: Tap shoes; tan is preferred.
-Jazz: Tan slip-on jazz shoes.
-Hip-Hop: Clean indoor runners.
-Acro: Bare feet.
-Highland: Black ballet shoes or traditional Highland shoes.
Hair should be tied back and secured away from the face.
Adult Classes
Adults may wear comfortable, form-fitting activewear.
Shoes:
-Tap: Tap shoes or clean indoor runners for beginners who do not yet own tap shoes.
-Hip-Hop: Clean indoor runners.
-Highland: Black ballet shoes or traditional Highland shoes.
If a dancer cannot wear the recommended attire for sensory, medical, cultural or personal reasons, they may wear another form of safe, comfortable activewear. Please contact us if assistance is needed.
Health and Wellness
-Dancers should stay home if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea or symptoms of a contagious illness.
-Dancers may return once they are feeling well and are fever-, vomiting- and diarrhea-free.
-Parents must notify Infinity Dance Inc. of allergies, injuries, medications, medical conditions or other information that could affect safe participation.
-Instructors will complete an incident report when an injury occurs during class.
-In an emergency, 911 will be called first, followed by the dancer’s emergency contact.
