By registering at Art in Motion School of Dance, I acknowledge and agree to the following payment policies:

REGISTRATION FEES
An annual non-refundable Registration Fee of $30 per student or $40 per family (2 or more dancers) will be charged immediately upon registration. Enrollment in classes is not confirmed until the registration fee has been successfully processed.
Event registrations are excluded from the annual Registration Fee and will only be charged the fee associated with that specific event.

TUITION PAYMENTS
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.
Tuition is based on the following sessions:
• Summer Session: June through July
• School-Year Season: August through May

TUITION STRUCTURE
School-Year Session tuition is based on the total annual cost of approximately 36 weeks of instruction and is divided into 10 equal monthly payments for convenience.

Summer Session tuition is structured separately based on the length of the program or session.

Monthly tuition payments remain the same regardless of the number of classes held in a particular month due to holidays, studio closures, recital preparation, inclement weather, or calendar variations.

Tuition is not adjusted for missed classes, vacations, illness, or other absences.

AUTO-PAY AUTHORIZATION
All accounts are required to maintain a valid payment method on file and remain enrolled in Auto-Pay.

By signing this agreement, I authorize Art in Motion School of Dance to automatically process tuition and any applicable fees using the payment method on file.

LATE PAYMENTS & RETURNED CHECKS
Accounts with unpaid balances after the 5th of the month will incur a late fee of 10% of the outstanding balance or a minimum of $20, whichever is greater.

A $35 fee will be applied to all returned or declined checks.

REFUND POLICY
All tuition, registration fees, and payments made to the studio are non-refundable and non-transferable.

DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS & COLLECTIONS
Accounts with outstanding balances may be suspended from participation in classes, performances, competitions, events, or other studio activities until the account is brought current.

If an account remains unpaid and is sent to a third-party collections agency, the account holder agrees to be responsible for all collection costs, agency fees, attorney fees, court costs, and additional expenses incurred in the recovery of the outstanding balance. Collection fees may increase the balance owed by up to 50% depending on the collection agency’s rates and recovery costs.

CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES
By enrolling at Art in Motion School of Dance, the account holder acknowledges and agrees to the studio’s payment, withdrawal, and refund policies.

Any chargebacks or payment disputes filed for valid tuition, fees, costumes, competition expenses, events, or other authorized charges may result in immediate suspension or removal from classes, performances, competitions, and studio activities until the matter is resolved.
If a chargeback is filed for charges that were authorized under the signed studio policies, the account holder agrees to remain responsible for the original balance owed in addition to any processing fees, chargeback fees, collection costs, attorney fees, or administrative expenses incurred by the studio in recovering payment.

Art in Motion School of Dance operates on the following enrollment sessions:

• Summer Session: June through July
• School-Year Season: August through May

All withdrawal requests and class change requests must be submitted through the official forms located on the AIM website.

Non-attendance, verbal communication, emails, text messages, or communication with staff members do not constitute official notice.

Because class placements, instructor scheduling, and staffing commitments are reserved in advance, withdrawal requests submitted after tuition has processed for a billing cycle do not cancel that month’s tuition obligation.

A $50 withdrawal processing fee will be charged upon withdrawal.

Class change requests are subject to class availability, instructor approval, and program placement guidelines. Submission of a class change request does not guarantee placement.

Students with three consecutive unexplained absences may be administratively withdrawn at AIM’s discretion. Any outstanding balances remain due according to studio policy.

By enrolling with AIM, families authorize Art in Motion School of Dance to charge the payment method on file for tuition, fees, outstanding balances, and applicable administrative charges in accordance with studio policies.

Regular attendance is encouraged to support dancer growth, classroom progression, choreography, and overall class experience.
Makeup classes for recreational programs may be available based on class availability and must be approved through the studio office. Makeup classes are not guaranteed.

Due to choreography, formations, and performance preparation, excessive absences may impact participation in performances, competitions, recitals, showcases, or special events.

Dancers who are experiencing fever, vomiting, contagious illness, or symptoms that may place others at risk should remain home until symptom-free according to current health recommendations.

Art in Motion School of Dance reserves the right to cancel, combine, close, substitute, or reschedule classes due to low enrollment, staffing, or scheduling needs.

If a class is canceled for this reason, families will be notified and alternative class options will be provided whenever possible.

Art in Motion School of Dance is committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, safe, and supportive environment for all dancers, families, staff members, and guests.

Disruptive, aggressive, threatening, inappropriate, or disrespectful behavior toward staff, students, families, or studio property, including through electronic communication or social media, may result in suspension or dismissal from studio programs, events, or activities at the discretion of the studio.

Families are expected to communicate concerns respectfully through appropriate studio channels so issues may be addressed professionally and constructively.


I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS ACCIDENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM WILL BE USED by the event holders, sponsors, and organizers of the activity or event in which I may participate, and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said activity or event.

In consideration of my application and being permitted to participate in this event, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:

I HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE Art in Motion School of Dance, LLC and all divisions thereof of any and all liability and responsibility for injuries, sickness, pandemics, accidents, natural disasters and/or acts of God incurred during participation in and/or instruction of camps, intensives, private instruction, choreography or any activity I may participate.

I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me including my traveling to and from this event, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: Art in Motion School of Dance, LLC here and/or their directors, officers, managers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, the activity or event holders, activity or event sponsors, activity or event volunteers;

I INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the entities or persons mentioned in this waiver, release and registration form from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity or event, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.

The undersigned gives permission to Art in Motion School of Dance, its owners, operators, employees, and representatives to seek emergency medical treatment for the participant in the event a parent or guardian cannot be reached.

By signing this agreement, I certify that the participant is physically and mentally capable of participating in dance activities and that I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, restrictions, allergies, or concerns to the studio.

I understand and agree that Art in Motion School of Dance may photograph and/or video record my child during classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, camps, intensives, conventions, private lessons, studio events, or related activities.

These photos and videos may be used for marketing, advertising, promotional materials, social media, print materials, and the studio website.

This permission also extends to official AIM employee and staff social media accounts used for studio-related purposes while employed by AIM.

I understand that no identifying personal information, such as a home address or full legal name, will be publicly shared.

I further understand that I may opt out of this release by submitting written notice to the studio office. If I choose to opt out, the studio will mark my child’s account accordingly and make reasonable efforts to avoid the use of their image.

I understand that participation in dance classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, camps, intensives, conventions, private lessons, choreography sessions, and related activities involves physical activity and carries inherent risks of injury.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in activities at Art in Motion School of Dance, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, accidents, property damage, property theft, pandemics, natural disasters, and acts of God.

I certify that my dancer is physically fit to participate and has not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.

In consideration of participation in studio activities, I hereby waive, release, and discharge Art in Motion School of Dance, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, volunteers, representatives, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of participation in studio activities, including claims arising from negligence to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Art in Motion School of Dance from any claims or expenses arising from participation in studio activities.

I understand that additional waivers, agreements, policies, or acknowledgements may be required for specific programs, events, competitions, performances, travel opportunities, camps, intensives, conventions, private lessons, or other activities.

I agree to review all future waivers and understand that electronic signatures and digital acknowledgements carry the same legal force and effect as handwritten signatures.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to all policies and procedures outlined above.
