By enrolling a student at Artistic Edge Dance Center (“AEDC”), I acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions:
TUITION -
Tuition is assessed per child and is based on participation in the full dance season, defined as mid-August through mid-May, and not on the number of classes attended in any given month.
The total annual tuition obligation is payable in either nine (9) equal monthly installments or two (2) semester installments.
Tuition payments are due on the 1st day of each month. A late fee of $15.00 will be assessed to any account with an outstanding balance after the 10th day of the month.
Full tuition is due for the entire season, August through May. September tuition is included in the August installment.
Tuition shall not be prorated for months with fewer than four classes, scheduled studio holidays, absences, or missed classes. No additional fees will be charged for months containing five classes.
CLASSES AND MAKEUPS -
Makeup classes may be taken for classes missed due to illness or personal conflict, subject to studio availability.
Makeup classes are not offered for scheduled studio holiday closures.
REFUNDS AND CREDITS -
All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, including but not limited to registration fees, tuition, Spring Performance Participation fees, costume fees, and performance ticket purchases.
Credits may be issued ONLY for the unused portion of prepaid semester or full year tuition in the event a dancer must discontinue due to documented injury. Any such credits shall expire one (1) calendar year from the date of issuance.
No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes, studio closures due to inclement weather, or scheduled vacation breaks.
AEDC requires one (1) month written notice of withdrawal from classes. Tuition obligations continue during the notice period.
PAYMENTS -
Monthly invoices will be delivered electronically via email.
Payments may be made through the AEDC Parent Portal using the email address provided at registration.
Automatic recurring payments may be authorized through the Parent Portal.
Payments may also be made in person by cash, check, or credit card.
All credit card payments are subject to a credit card convenience fee, currently 3.05% plus $0.35 per transaction. These fees may be avoided by paying with cash or check. Convenience fees are subject to change without notice.
ADDITIONAL FEES -
Additional fees apply for participation in the Spring Performance, billed in November, and for costumes, billed in two installments in December and January.
