CAPA 2026 – Terms, Conditions & Inclusions
Please read carefully before enrolling.
Our all-inclusive pricing does not cover the following, which are billed separately:
2026 Registration Fee (deposit to secure your spot)
Exam fees, including holiday workshops
Uniform items
Private lessons
Tickets to the CAPA 2026 End of Year Concert
Payment
All fees are inclusive of GST and are fixed term prices — fees cannot be paid casually.
All families must be enrolled in AutoPay through our parent portal, Dance Studio Pro, before enrolling into classes. AutoPay automatically processes payments from your nominated credit card or bank account.
Term fees can be paid in full or by weekly direct debit — we'll confirm your preference at enrolment.
Weekly direct debit incurs a transaction fee of 1.81% + $0.30 (credit card) or 1.00% + $0.30 (bank account) per transaction.
Pay in full by Monday of Week 1 and all transaction fees are waived — whether you pay by cash, card, or bank transfer. Payments made after this date, or by weekly direct debit, will incur the fees above.
Dishonoured Payments
If a scheduled payment fails, a $10.00 fee applies to the first dishonoured transaction. Each subsequent dishonoured transaction incurs a $17.00 fee.
Enrolment Is a Full-Term Commitment
When you enrol, you are committing to a minimum of one (1) class for the entire term. You are very welcome to enrol in additional classes, but at least one class must be maintained through to the end of each term.
You may add classes at any time (subject to availability).
Once a term has commenced, full term fees are payable. No refunds or credits are issued for missed classes, mid-term withdrawals, or for any class dropped below the one-class minimum.
Exceptional circumstances: In genuine exceptional cases (such as serious injury or relocation), CAPA may, at the Studio Director's sole discretion, offer a credit toward a future term. This is offered as a goodwill gesture and is not a guaranteed entitlement.
Make-Up Lessons
We understand life gets busy and absences happen!
Terms 1 & 2: If your child misses a class due to illness, holidays, or personal commitments, they are welcome to attend a make-up class in a similar style or age group (subject to availability). Make-up lessons must be used within the same term and cannot be carried over.
Terms 3 & 4: Make-up lessons are not available, as concert formations and choreography rely on consistent attendance. Classes missed during this period are forfeited. This keeps every student's concert experience polished and professional.
Silks exception: Make-up lessons remain available for Silks classes in Terms 3 & 4 (subject to availability), as these classes are not part of concert formations.
Reducing Classes (Dropping a Class)
If your child stays enrolled at CAPA but reduces their number of classes, we require a minimum of one (1) week's written notice. The updated fees apply from the next billing cycle, and no credits or refunds are issued for classes attended or missed before the notice period. Please remember that at least one class must be maintained for the full term.
Withdrawing from CAPA (Full Withdrawal)
To withdraw your child from all classes for an upcoming term, written notice must be received by Monday of Week 2 of the school holidays preceding that term. Once a term has commenced, full term fees are payable and no refunds or credits are issued for missed classes or mid-term withdrawal. Your child is welcome to keep attending for the remainder of the current term once notice has been given.
End of Year Concert
All students participate in our End of Year Concert.
Students who withdraw forfeit any concert inclusions (such as concert packs).
