World Star Academy Agreement
Welcome to World Star Academy! Our mission is to produce "world stars" and to develop talent and build confidence in our students. We offer a structured, year-round program that includes skill assessments, annual exams, performance, and level advancement to support consistent growth and development.
To ensure a smooth and successful experience for all families, please review and agree to the following terms of enrollment:
1. Weekly Class Attendance
Students are expected to attend their scheduled classes weekly to support their learning and progress.
2. Absence Notification
If your child will be absent, please notify the Academy before or on the day of the class to be eligible for make-ups.
3. Make-Up Class Policy
Make-up classes are available within 4 weeks of the missed class and may be taken at any available classes at any World Star location. After 4 weeks, the make-up opportunity will expire.
4. Autopay & Cancellation
Tuition is processed automatically each month. If you wish to cancel your enrollment, please inform the Academy at least 4 weeks in advance to avoid further charges.
5. Private Class Appointments
Once private class appointments are scheduled, they cannot be canceled. However, rescheduling may be allowed in cases of emergency or illness.
6. Tuition & Fees Non-Refundable
All tuition and fees are non-refundable, including missed classes, holidays, early withdrawals, or cancellations. By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.
7. Late Fees
If autopay does not process successfully, families have 7 days to resolve the issue. After 7 days, a 2% late fee will be applied to the outstanding balance every 7 days. If payment is not received within 8 weeks, the student’s enrollment will be canceled.
8. Leave of Absence
Families may take up to 4 consecutive weeks of unpaid leave per calendar year for travel or personal reasons. Advance notice is required.
9. Re-Enrollment Terms
If enrollment is canceled and you wish to return in the future, re-enrollment will be subject to the current tuition rate and a re-enrollment fee.
10. Performance Participation
Participation in the two annual stage performances is mandatory, as it is a core part of our program. These events are designed to be both fun and rewarding—students enjoy them immensely and gain invaluable experience from performing in front of a live audience. Students also have the option to join auditions, fashion shows, and competitions throughout the year.
11. Grade Levels
The school year starts from August of one year to July of the next year. To progress to the next grade level in August of every year, students are required to attend a minimum of 70% of weekly classes, pass exams, and perform in 2 shows in each school year.
12. Competitive Teams
Students who join competitive teams must pass an audition and get an approval from the Coach and the Director each year. Students in competitive teams agree to join a minimum of 2 competitions/year, attend 85% of trainings, not miss any trainings in the last 4 weeks before the competition, and pay for competition fees, costumes, and extra trainings if required.
13. Media Release
The Academy may take photos and videos during classes, rehearsals, and events. By enrolling, you consent to the use of these images for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes across all media platforms.
14. Liability Waiver
While we take great care to ensure a safe environment, participation in physical activity involves some risk. By signing this agreement, you release World Star Academy and its staff from liability for any injury or loss incurred during classes or related activities.
15. Class Changes & Schedule Adjustments
World Star Academy reserves the right to adjust class schedules, instructors, or class locations when necessary. Families will be notified in advance of any significant changes.
16. Dress Code & Behavior Expectations
Students are expected to follow the Academy’s dress code and behavior guidelines to ensure a respectful, focused, and inclusive learning environment.
17. Communication & Updates
Families agree to regularly check their text, e-mail, or designated communication platform for updates regarding class information, events, or policy changes.
18. Emergency Contact & Medical Consent
In the event of an emergency, I authorize World Star Academy staff to provide first aid and/or seek emergency medical care for my child if I cannot be reached.
