Hi Ascend Dance Family!
We are so excited to get things started for our next season!! I can't believe that August is already here!
Start Date
All classes start this WEEK! We will follow the Middleton School District Calendar for all major breaks and holidays. We have 2 different studios, if you have a question about where your class is please check the parent portal. You should have also recieved a class confirmation email with the location on your classes on there.
Tuition
As a friendly reminder, tuition is due on the 1st and considered late by the 10th. A $15 late fee will be applied to any payments made after the 10th. You can pay by cash, check, through the parent portal, or venmo (@katelynelison).
Tuition, Registration and Costume Fees are non-refundable.
We respectfully ask that if sending tuition by venmo that you send it as friends and not flag it as a purchased good. We also have an autopay feature through the parent portal for your convenience!

Locations
As some of you know, we recently opened a new location. We are loving it and are so excited for it. Please take note of the location of your class so that you show up to the correct place! You can find this through the parent portal by your class selections.
Main Street Studio Location

Studio Location inside the Wellstone Business Park
1070 W. Main St.
Pick Up & Drop Off
At both studio locations, all pick up and drop off happens at our back door entrances. No dancers enter through front door accesses to keep kids safe and accounted for.
All classes start and end on time. We appreciate your prompt pick up to help make class transitions smooth for everyone.
*If your child's class is at our Main Street Studio Location, please pay special attention to the drop off diagram attached to this email as a PDF.
*The Studio inside the Wellstone Business Park is also a rear drop off. Please drop off on the north side of the building and dancer's will walk down the sidewalk to our rear door entrance.
Housekeeping Items
Before dropping your child off for class, we ask that you take them to the bathroom. As teachers, we like to maximize our time with them each week and this will help us do that. They miss out on important instruction and FUN when they are using the restroom each week during class.
We also ask that your child bring with them their own water bottles for their drink breaks. Water fountains are not inside the classroom and would require them to miss out on the fun to use them!
Parent Observation Rooms
For the safety of all dancers, we do not have parent observation areas at our studio. No parents are allowed to be inside the dance area to help all of our dancers get the most of our time together and to keep all dancers safe. All classes are taught by qualified instructors who I trust deeply and are committed to making sure your dancers have the best experience possible.
For our younger dancing friends who may have a harder time adjusting to being away from mom, don't worry! We are prepared and promise to win them over! In our experience, the longer their designated grown up sticks around, the longer it takes us to show them how much fun they can have by participating in class fully! If there are tears, don't worry! We got this and if we need your help we will contact you right away.
All parents are welcome to stay on the property in their vehicles or in the designated hallway space of our Wellstone Business Park location. Once we have a rhythm and groove between dancers and teachers, we will be planning designated parent watch days so that you can enjoy the magic of class with them from time to time.

Appropriate Attire
We ask that all dancers wear form fitting clothing. This helps us to accurately assist them and keep their form safe. Please keep hair pulled securely out of your face. Our classes do not require footwear, we will be barefoot, unless otherwise specified.
