Individual students will be placed in the appropriate class according to age and ability. The curriculum includes progressively advanced ballet, tap and jazz instruction. Students will continue to build on their technique, style, and dance terminology along with enhancing their knowledge in more advanced forms of dance. Instruction in jazz, an American form of dance marked by movement isolations and complex, propulsive rhythms, leaps and turns, is begun at age 8. The beginning level includes stretches, isolations, barre work and simple movements and progresses to turns, hops, leaps and more complex choreography at a faster tempo. Class will be broken down into sections and progressively advancing choreography, leaps, turns and dance terminology in all three dance styles will be taught. As students progress, complex dance combinations will be introduced to strengthen their range of flexibility and build strength and endurance, helping them develop their overall athletic ability.

Tumbling is the floor section of gymnastics and teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration as well as spatial awareness. Floor mats are used to teach students safe techniques for rolls, headstands, walkovers, handsprings and other gymnastic tricks.

Individual students will be placed in the appropriate class according to age and ability. The curriculum includes progressively advanced ballet, tap and jazz instruction. Students will continue to build on their technique, style, and dance terminology along with enhancing their knowledge in more advanced forms of dance. Instruction in jazz, an American form of dance marked by movement isolations and complex, propulsive rhythms, leaps and turns, is begun at age 8. The beginning level includes stretches, isolations, barre work and simple movements and progresses to turns, hops, leaps and more complex choreography at a faster tempo. Class will be broken down into sections and progressively advancing choreography, leaps, turns and dance terminology in all three dance styles will be taught. As students progress, complex dance combinations will be introduced to strengthen their range of flexibility and build strength and endurance, helping them develop their overall athletic ability.
