Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the 925 Dance Collective Competition Team.

Location: 3709A Mt. Diablo Blvd, Lafayette
Ages: 5–18

We welcome dancers across a range of ages and experience levels. No prior competition experience is required.

Our team program is designed for dancers who are excited to train seriously, perform on stage, and grow as part of a supportive and hardworking community. Dancers receive focused training in technique, performance, and choreography while building confidence, resilience, and strong friendships along the way.

During placement, dancers will participate in a structured class-style evaluation including technique, movement combinations, and performance exercises. Our goal is to understand each dancer’s current level and place them where they can grow and succeed.

All dancers who audition will be considered for placement on the 925 Dance Collective Competition Team. Placement decisions are based on a dancer’s current level, training background, and readiness for choreography and rehearsal expectations.

Some dancers—particularly those with less experience—may initially be placed in smaller competitive opportunities or as solo competitors. In these cases, teachers may recommend private lessons or additional classes to support continued growth and future team placement.

Our goal is to place every dancer in an environment where they feel supported, challenged, and set up for success.

Not ready yet? A second placement opportunity will be available in August before the season begins (date TBD). Dancers only need to attend one placement.

After placement, families will receive placement results, recommended classes, and next steps for joining the team.
