What is A Chance to Dance?
A Chance to Dance (C2D) is a life-changing program that gives children and teens with special needs, ages 6 and up, the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence, and belonging that come through dance and the performing arts.
Through weekly classes in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment, our dancers learn a variety of dance styles while developing coordination, strength, self-expression, and self-confidence. Most importantly, they build lasting friendships and enjoy the excitement of being part of something special.
Each dancer receives personalized support from our dedicated teen volunteers, creating meaningful connections that benefit everyone involved. These volunteers gain valuable lessons in leadership, responsibility, compassion, and friendship while helping their dance partners shine.
Classes are led by experienced instructors who are passionate about working with children with special needs. Thanks to donated studio space, generous community partners, volunteers, and supporters like you, every dancer can participate at no cost to their family—including classes, costumes, and performance opportunities.
